Hi, I am Aria, welcome to my life!
About Me
Hi, I’m Aria 👋
And yes — I only have one leg. But trust me, that hasn’t slowed me down one bit.
I started this blog because when I became an amputee, I spent hours searching the internet for honest, practical advice on products that could make my daily life easier. Most of what I found was either too clinical, too vague, or written by people who had never actually lived in a prosthetic limb. I wanted real answers from someone who truly gets it.
So I decided to become that person.
My Story
Losing my leg changed my life in ways I never expected — some hard, some surprisingly beautiful. I had to relearn things most people take for granted: how to get dressed in the morning, how to move through a grocery store, how to work out, how to feel comfortable in my own skin again.
Through that journey, I discovered an entire world of adaptive products, clever gadgets, and everyday tools that made an enormous difference in my quality of life. Some I found by accident. Some were recommended by my care team. Many I found through countless hours of research on Amazon, reading reviews, and honestly — trial and error.
That experience is exactly what this blog is built on.

What I Do Here
On this blog, I review and recommend the products that have genuinely helped me — and the ones I wish I had known about sooner. From prosthetic care essentials to adaptive kitchen tools, bathroom safety gear, fitness equipment, and everything in between, I test and evaluate products with one simple question in mind:
“Does this actually make life better for an amputee?”
If the answer is yes, you’ll find it here. If it’s overhyped or overpriced, I’ll tell you that too. I only recommend products I would use myself — or already do.
Who This Blog Is For
Whether you are a:
- New amputee just starting your journey
- Seasoned prosthetic user looking for better gear
- Caregiver or family member trying to support a loved one
- Someone shopping for a meaningful gift
This blog is for you. You deserve honest, experience-based guidance — not generic lists, not sponsored fluff. Real recommendations from someone living this life every single day.
A Little More About Me
When I’m not testing products or writing reviews, you’ll find me doing what I love — staying active, traveling when I can, and proving to myself (and anyone watching) that life with one leg is still a full life.
I believe in resilience, in community, and in the power of the right product to make a genuinely hard day a little easier.
